Receive a text message or email alert when a line goes down, and customize the timing of alerts based on your preference. Want to know right away? Set your preference for 5 minutes or less. Want to wait longer in case an operator finds the fix? You can do that, too. In this video, I will teach you how to setup Thrive’s Alert System.
To set up downtime alerts for your lines, go to "Administration" in the dashboard and select "DT Alerts."
When the DT Alerts page opens, click "Add Contact."
Add your e-mail address and select the lines you wish to receive downtime text alerts for. Enter your cell number and set the threshold.
The threshold is the amount of time a line must be down prior to sending a text message alert. For example, if your threshold is set at 60 minutes and a downtime event occurs, you will receive a text alert once the line has been down for 60 minutes. The alert will include the line name and the length of the downtime event.
